| Proprietary Varioductor technology opens new doors to digital reproduction. Not confined to traditional wire conductor technologies and limitations, Cerious Technologies pulled out all the stops with a ground up design that breaks the barriers of the digital medium. Our digital cables are nothing like our analog interconnects, because digital signals are nothing like analog signals. Simply put, no other cable offered by Cerious Technologies will make as big of a sonic difference in your system as our digital cable, period. The secret is not in the conductors, the fluid jacket or the connectors, but in how all three combine to ensure signal integrity. When you are designing for digital, you must always begin with the most finicky element of digital equipment – the ground. Digital grounds are noisy. They only understand brute force. For this reason we use Pure Silver (and a lot of it) for the conductor material to get the lowest resistance possible. Since we are Cerious Technologies, we cannot just use a standard Silver conductor. The jacket is a proprietary micro porous medical grade Teflon which works like Gore-Tex in reverse, allowing moisture in and keeping it there. The fluid jacket contains a material that is an excellent contact cleaner, penetrating the micro porous Teflon to bathe the Silver in a constant bath of cleaning, minimizing any oxidation effects. Cerious Constant Cleanse technology silver will last in performance for up to twenty years with virtually no degradation. The main conductor is pure Cerious Technologies. Liquid saturated microfiber. The wall thickness of the Teflon tubing is carefully regulated to control the impedance, to yield a 75 Ohm impedance for the RCA terminated cable (SPDIF) and 110 Ohms for the AES/ebu. Micro polished crimp connectors reduce signal reflections to a minimum while allowing unimpeded full signal transfer. The sonic signature of Cerious Technologies digital cables is one of utter black backgrounds and ultra quiet transparency. How is this achieved? Capacitance. Digital signals have a lot of trash happening in the highest frequencies which must be eliminated. Some companies will add a capacitor to their cables to attempt to filter out this noise, but the capacitors only operate at one point along the cable, rendering it ineffective. Due to the Liquid Ceramic fluid jacket, Cerious Technologies digital cables have a constant capacitive filter that is identical across any one point for the entire length of the cable. This is key to linear behavior and to reduced noise. Highlights: Varioductor technology utilizing the exact combination of conductor materials to maximize performance including proprietary Cerious Technologies Liquid saturated microfiber main conductor, and heavy pure silver grounds with Constant Cleanse technology. Linear capacitance noise reduction system and reactive fluid damping liquid jacket. Polished gas tight crimp connections. Five year parts and labor warrantee. |
