The Cerious Bass is also available as a passive unit, without the built in amplifier. The passive crossover is specifically designed to integrate to the Cerious TOO. Possessing a total height of 24" the Cerious Bass can be thought of as the Cerious Base, holding the TOO at an ideal position and height to form a single integrated loudspeaker. Many installations do not allow separate stand mounting of the satellites and this further ensures the Too/Bass can be matched to virtually any listening environment.
Cerious Too/Bass Combo
The Cerious Bass is a ported bass reflex design, employing a cast basket aluminum/ceramic composite cone 10" driver that is downward firing. Passively it is selectable to crossover at either 75 Hz or 60 Hz @ 12 db/octave. Powered versions employ an integrated 200 watt amplifier with a variable crossover from 50-120 Hz. Auto turn on sensing and phase are also included. Each cabinet is 10" W in front (10" W rear) x 15.5" D x 24" H. Frequency response extents to a solid 27 Hz with speed and slam. Weight is 82 pounds each. Kevlar in black and matching black trim. Leather optional.
